Monthly Home School Pottery Group
Since February 2024, our home school pottery sessions have been a local favourite for young people aged 9–16. Originally run as private groups, we are excited to be opening these up to the wider home-educating community from September 2026.
These sessions are designed for deep learning. We prioritise teaching your children the proper skills of pottery, making use of our fully equipped city centre studio. To ensure students have the time to build, refine, fire, and glaze their pieces, we will be working in 3-month blocks.
Taster session: If you would like to try a session before committing we will be running a stand alone taster session 10th July 1.30-3.30pm.

In this 90 minute session participants are taken through the basics of operating an electric potter’s wheel and will learn to produce a few small pots for later collection.
