Come along to the Studio on Friday 29th May 2026 6.00-7.30pm to create your own hand made number plate in this 90 minute pottery workshop. Whether it’s for your front door or your allotment, a handmade number sign adds a lot of charm. 

The number plates will be built as flat tile clay slabs with sculptural additions. There will be the option to paint your pieces using underglazes during the session and you will be given a number of gloss glaze options to choose from. (You may also book onto a separate glazing session if you want to glaze the piece yourself.)

All pieces will be fired and glazed ready for collection six weeks after the workshop.

Everything is provided for the workshop. 

If you need your finished number plate to fit certain dimensions please bring them with you as we will need to calculate the tile size to accommodate the shrinkage of the clay.
