Print your own Christmas cards is back!

In this workshop you are taken through all the stages of making your own lino printed Christmas cards (with time to get them posted!)

You will learn to draft, carve and print your designs using traditional printing methods and tools, including using two different presses and hand printing techniques. This course is suitable for complete beginners!

All materials you will need to print 20 x A6 single colour cards are included in the cost of the class; a range of coloured inks will be available to use. If you would like to print more, or work fast enough to carve multiple designs, additional supplies can be bought on the day.

20 Envelopes are also included.

If you would like to experiment printing on different surfaces, papers etc… feel free to bring those along too.

If the cards are touch dry by the end of the session they can be taken home then, if not they can be collected from the Studio at a later date or posted to you for the cost of P&P.

The main inks we will be using are safe wash so shouldn’t stain clothes, however there will be opportunities to try letterpress and metallic inks which would stain fabrics, so it is best to wear clothes you don’t mind staining/ bring an apron.
